L’Associazione ambientalista “Eugenio Rosmann” e il Nordic walking di Duino I sentieri del cuore con la partecipazione della Lega Italiana Lotta ai Tumori – sezione di Trieste e di Gorizia organizza per domenica 3 aprile 2016 la visita guidata alle aree umide del monfalconese a tema Lisert tra storia e natura.
Ritrovo ore 9:30 davanti alle Terme Romane in via Timavo 74/m a Monfalcone (GO).
Il percorso sarà di circa 6 chilometri e toccherà i resti delle Terme Romane e il dente della collina di Sant’Antonio per fare tappa presso il porto romano a vedere le specie ornitologiche limicole e, dopo una breve passeggiata presso l’area industriale, si giungerà al canneto del Lisert e l’area del Sito d’Importanza Comunitario della Foce del Timavo ricadente nella cassa di colmata, con birdwatching finale.
Sono consigliate scarpe comode e eventualmente i bastoncini da nordik walking, che però non saranno usati nelle aree del birdwatching per non arrecare disturbo alla avifauna presente.
Rientro alla punto di partenza, il parcheggio delle Terme Romane, ed eventuale pranzo presso l’osmiza di Medeazza previa prenotazione.
